Founded in 2023 and fully registered in November 2024, AfyaAid was born out of a personal journey and a deep commitment to addressing the critical healthcare gaps witnessed at the community level. AfyaAid was established by a dedicated medical doctor with extensive experience serving vulnerable populations. “I encountered firsthand the challenges of limited access to quality healthcare, maternal and child mortality, and inadequate health literacy with a rise of communicable and non-communicable diseases”. These experiences ignited a passion to create an organization that could make a tangible difference—a mission that lies at the heart of AfyaAid”.
